Meadow Dome is an ideal spot if you want to unwind and enjoy nature at its finest. Meadow Dome is solar powered with wood heating and drinking water provided. There is a close by outhouse.

Annie the A-Frame

Welcome to our Tranquil A-Frame Cottage! Relax, refocus and rejuvenate at this newly refurbished chalet perched on a secluded hill surrounded by evergreens. The perfect spot to disconnect from the hustle/bustle and technology. Modern amenities include gas fireplace, A/C, washer/dryer, TV, Record Player, DVD Player. Connect with nature, snuggle up by the fireplace, read a book, play a board game or listen to some vinyl and unwind. There is NO INTERNET but there is spotty LTE/cell service.

CABIN over pond + hiking to WATER FALLS & lookouts

No service, no electricity, no plumbing, no problems "Kabinka" is the name of our eastern European inspired Chalet. She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's weekend away (groups over 4 are charged more) Outside is a growing network of trails, winding along Rockingham Creek and surrounding hills, with views of our hobby farm and spectacular waterfalls Please MESSAGE us with any questions

Forest Yurt

Cozy, bright, yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, library, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, no shower or wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Log Bunkie w/ Loft, Bon Echo Park. NO clng. fee

This bunkie, sided in Vermont Maple, was built in 2018. Tastefully decorated in barn board and v-joint pine inside, it features 7 cu. ft. fridge, large air circulator, kitchen cart, microwave, bbq, coffee maker, etc. It has a wardrobe, loveseat, end table and dining table for two. The queen bed is up the ladder in the loft. Great view onto Lake Mazinaw. New 36' dock, deck, stand up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoe, Aqua Cycle and pedal boats. Minimum 3 night booking on long weekends.

Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Off-Grid Tree Canopy Retreat

Escape to this private off-grid retreat, nestled high in the trees overlooking the natural beauty of the Moira River. This elevated nature shelter provides a cozy, rustic space for guests seeking solitude, adventure, or a peaceful getaway. This is a multi-use nature retreat designed to provide shelter and relaxation in a secluded setting. Guests are welcome to rest and recharge in the space, enjoying the warmth of the wood stove while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

The Woodland Escape

Step back in time. Experience living in a one room cabin heated by a wood stove and lit by candles and lanterns. Your bathroom is an outhouse. There is no running water or electricity. You can ski, snowshoe or hike on the 40 acre property. Also, within minutes of the cabin are numerous trail systems, lakes and beaches.
