Robyn’s Nest - Entire guesthouse in the mountains

Welcome all to Robyn’s Nest. A detached 1 bed/1 bath guesthouse all to yourself with large windows facing the mountains, hills and a beautiful view of our neighbour’s horses in their pasture. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, wine, beverages, snacks & a large variety of breakfast items, plus pasta, sauce & cheese for a stay in supper are included in your stay. 10 min to Hinton/45 min to Jasper. PLEASE NOTE: there is access to the back deck/laundry - Dec to March but we might not have shovelled.

Located just off the Main street in Nakusp, near restaurants and stores, the lake and beautiful boardwalk. A small and cozy suite, this air conditioned unit has a kitchenette serviced with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and dishes . Washer/dryer in suite. Private bathroom. Queen sized bed. Plenty of parking. We have a no pets and no smoking policy. Hot springs, mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing in winter, kayaking, boating and swimming in the summer.

Our serene and peaceful cabin is situated 15 min from town center where you will find supermarkets, the rec center, a movie theater, shops, and restaurants. Creston also offers tours of the Kokanee Brewery and local vineyards during the summer. We are 20 min from Kootenay lake. The West Creston Wetlands Conservation Area is at the bottom of the hill. 4 season space that is perfect for resting between Bragg Creek activities. 12'x14' main floor (3.7mx4.3m) Queen size bed located in the ladder-accessed loft space. If you are coming to bike, hike, horseback ride, or enjoy the dining and shopping opportunities, Bragg Creek welcomes you! We describe it as rustic as the toilet is a porta-potty (serviced weekly, cleaned between guests) and there is no shower or bath. The cabin is insulated, heated, and there is running potable water.

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.

Guesthouse is right next to the popular Kettle River which has a swimming hole and other little coves. Relax on the lounge chairs. Rustic tiny house feel for a little get-away retreat at Eagles Nest Retreat. Wood fired sauna is located right in the guesthouse. Enjoy the grassed area to the river where there is seating and a fire-pit. Tent area available next to guesthouse for extra guests for a fee.
