Artist studio, great wifi, in country village

Large beamed studio in working family village with north light, fixtures & fittings which are recycled, art and stuff from my time in galleries and museums. Comfy retreat behind my Tudor cottage. My garden is an acre with a private drive, you get the bit with less neighbours but more farm. Private space in the garden, cotton bedding. It’s shabby but well equipped. It’s cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Not for those who would be disturbed by deer, fox, chickens (rooster) and a horse.

Situated on the edge of Aldhurst Farm, an AONB and Suffolk's breathtaking coastal walks (where some of Kate Humble's Coastal Walks and SpringWatch is filmed) our beautiful, fully equipped, garden pod is the perfect space to enjoy some of Suffolks extensive and stunning landscape. Perfect for the nature lover or just to spend a relaxing day on the beach, only 2 minutes away. Visit Minsmere, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Snape, Southwold, Framlingham, Orford and many more, all on our doorstep!

The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

An ideal base to explore the Suffolk Coast (AONB) and a wonderful place to star gaze. Walk or cycle direct to Thorpeness & Aldeburgh through RSPB North Warren. Dunwich, Minsmere, Southwold, Walberswick & Snape a short drive away. Self check in 4pm. Late check out (subject to availability) No WIFI. Good 4G signal.

Forest lodge-style self-contained cabin with one bedroom and open plan living space & kitchen. Set on a quiet country lane in a large garden in the countryside, 7 miles from the picturesque seaside town of Southwold and 1 mile from the charming market town of Halesworth. The Cabin is a timber building constructed from reclaimed and sustainable materials and heated by a cosy log burner. A cosy, perfectly formed space in the centre of Orford, The Studio is ideally placed to enjoy this gorgeous Suffolk village. A short step to fabulous walks, Pump Street Bakery, 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, a tea room, Village Shop, Butcher & Pinneys Smokery, as well as a short drive to Snape, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge... you won't want for diversions, unless you just want to chill out on your own private patio. Ideal for a couple, a 3rd person can be squeezed in, and your dog is also welcome.

A quiet retreat in an AONB. Use of our garden whenever you would like. Views of countryside and wildlife at the end of our garden. Large private parking.
