"Under the Tree" Rustic homestay by the Beach

Under The Tree is a charming homestay nestled in Thal, a serene coastal village located between Mandwa and Alibag. Just a brief 5-minute stroll from Thal beach, the property is situated approximately 20 minutes by car from Mandwa Jetty. Built in the 60's and recently renovated, this bungalow is surrounded by betel nut, coconut, and chiku trees. With a focus on privacy and comfort, we accommodate a limited number of guests, making it an ideal choice for small families seeking a tranquil getaway.

Firefly looks out from a green and forested hill over the Revdanda River to the sea. My love for the view, simple charms of rural Maharashtra and the constant breeze, inspired me to design Firefly as a big open convivial space, hugging nature but never bereft of comforts. Filling one with joy and her peacefulness. Firefly has seen our children grow up and much fun and laughter with family and friends over the years. An Architects personal getaway, just a 12 minute drive from the Mandwa Jetty. It is a 4 bhk ac private villa with a swimming pool. An airy living room, landscaped lawns, barbeque area, swimming pool,private and secured parking, caretaker, TV, Wifi, etc are some of the amenities on offer. An in house cook is also available for a fee of 2500 a day for all 3 meals and groceries as per cost.They know Indian, konkani, bbq,chaat,etc. it is all home made freshly prepared food.( veg & non veg)

Welcome to my calm happy space. The cottage is perfect to rejuvenate, focus or simply chill out. A bit on the rustic side we encourage the outdoor as much as possible .... yes including that long needed rain dance. Regarding food, our caretaker can do your shopping - you would need to pay him directly for supplies at shop prices ie at actuals (no markup). Our cook can prepare your meals at a charge of Rs 1000 per day.
