Welcome to the beauty of nature along the Mississippi! This cabin has it all from modern amenities and an authentic log cabin feel to the beautiful soaring views of the Mississippi. You and your guests will enjoy the convenient location, only 12 minutes from Lansing, IA or 7 minutes to the nearest boat landing. Take in the wildlife that frequently passes through the peaceful wooded hillside on the large covered screened porch. Once you arrive you will agree the drive was well worth the visit!

Great for weddings and event groups. You’ll find a charming, clean home with space to relax. Fitting 8 comfortably. (4 queen beds + couches. Located one block from the Missisippi River. Our most pristine suite. Enjoy a relaxing time on your private patio that faces the Mississippi River. Suite comes with a full kitchen, living room with a fireplace and sofa sleeper. Enjoy a spa-like shower in our new rain shower. Two bedrooms each with a queen bed. Owners put a lot of attention to detail in this amazing suite. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and parks. All 6 units at Backwater Suites have indoor access to each other.

Copper Creek Getaway Sleeps 6 Hot Tub

Escape to a peaceful Ferryville getaway near the Mississippi River. Close to river landings, scenic overlooks, and small town charm. This comfortable home features vaulted ceilings, a cozy fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. With two bedrooms (each with two full beds), a pull-out couch, two full baths, and a spacious outbuilding to park a boat and gear, it’s the perfect base for fishing, boating, and exploring the Driftless Region. Relaxing in the Hot Tub adds the cherry on top.

Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.

Little Red School House

The Little Red Schoolhouse is located in a remote and serene area of Allamakee County. It is steps away from one of Iowa’s natural trout streams Patterson Creek, the recreational playground of the Upper Iowa River, and over 1,000 acres of wild prairie and woodlands managed by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. The Little Red Schoolhouse is surrounded by natural beauty and can provide a quiet refuge free from all distractions. We are excited for your stay!

Charming cabin nestled in the hills of NE Iowa, just south of Lansing with brand new outdoor hot tub. Only a short drive to the Mississippi River, Yellow River Forest & Effigy Mounds. Indoor wood burning stove and pool table in entertainment room. Open upper level loft area with 3 queen beds plus 2 bedrooms on main floor. 35 min drive to Prairie Du Chien, Mcgreggor and Marquette. Large patio and outdoor fire pit. Perfect for entertaining or a getaway with the family.

Linton Lodge

Relax with the whole family at this rural retreat on a gravel road. Its convenient location lets you explore the driftless area. You may see wildlife and birds, insects and wildflowers. There could also be mud, dust or snow because the Midwest weather is always changing. It is cozy and comfortable in this farmhouse nestled in an oak grove. If you love the outdoors and Iowa, this place is for you! Pets are welcome, maximum of two with pet fee paid at booking.
