This cozy retreat is perfect for a getaway or to be near skiing, hunting (lots of public land nearby), or Houghton U. & Letchworth. It has a fully stocked kitchen, the master bedroom has a queen bed, and the loft has two twin beds. The living room is comfortable, and it is quiet!!! Hunters, check out the map in the pics. Even though you get the full "cabin life" experience, there's a full bathroom, Wi-Fi, and maybe amenities that make a start here comfortable and relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

"Downtown" Alfred, Alfred State & Alfred University are within easy walking distance. Finger Lakes wine region is 40 minutes away, Letchworth State Park (the “Grand Canyon of the East”) is about an hour, Watkins Glen is 2 hours.

Iris Cottage, Nature on Higgins Creek

Iris cottage is set on a quiet road in WNY just 15 mi. from Letchworth State Park and 5 mi. from Houghton College. Gas fire place greets guests on chilly days and a large deck overlooks woods and Higgins Creek. The kitchen is well stocked and fully equipped. Whether summer or winter this is the perfect place to enjoy WNY nature at its best and get away from it all. 2 bedrooms open to open plan living, kitchen and dining. Onsuite master has a second electric fireplace and deck access.

This is a very quiet property set back in the woods. This log cabin has a wood burning fireplace indoors making it nice and cozy. Large firepit outside for bonfires. This cabin is in the woods so you will see insects and wildlife, we do spray for insects and mice but there is only so much we can do. We have 17 acres for you to walk around and explore! Enjoy time at our pond, feel free to fish but ask you to release them because we love our wildlife. Close to Letchworth State park!

A semi remote, off the grid, newly constructed,comfortable 14' x 24' cabin with a 8' x 14' porch. Solar powered with running hot water and heat. Located on 90 acres of recreational and hunting land. The electricity is sourced from an on-site solar system, with a remote start generator to assure never losing power. This location is for those who are looking for an experience different from the hotel/motel setting. However, still providing all basic amenities Hunting is available.

The Main&Central Suite 1&2 combination is the entire second floor of this beautiful Victorian home, located 2 blocks from the Wellsville Main St businesses and events. You will enjoy clean, warm, spacious rooms with comfortable king beds. Each private bedroom has its own living room with a day bed and tv. The full kitchen is very accommodating, and the large bathroom includes a washer and dryer.
