Tioga County Base-Camp - "Black Bear Hollow"

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, shooting, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing & star gazing. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.

Get your supplies at the local Trading Post (fire wood, groceries and more). Bring your ATV and enjoy the trails only a few miles away from the place. You have more guests?
