Quiet double B and B in Dumfries

Only a 10 minute walk into town. Large room with king size bed, TV, workstation, armchairs and private bathroom on the first floor of my warm and artistic home. Close to pubs, shops and restaurants, railway station and arts cinema. You can use my garden, kitchen and dining areas. cooked breakfast is included. Sole use of upstairs, with extra double bedroom let exclusively to members of the same group sharing the upstairs bathroom, contact Jenny for availability and rate for the additional room

We have one private room which can sleep up to 2 people. This can be set up as either double or twin room, please request your preference on booking. There is WiFi in the room The kitchen and bathroom are shared. We also have laundry facilities. Pets welcome. Parking is available. Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. There is a secure hallway for cycles.

A large open-plan room, Riverside boasts a solid oak, king size bed and a solid oak, single sofa bed. An amply equipped mini-kitchen with pine table and chairs completes the comfortable living area. The kitchen has a two ring hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The extremely spacious en-suite bathroom enjoys a roll-top bath and a separate, walk-in rainforest shower.

Ashlack Hall lies at the head of a valley, which runs westward to the Duddon Estuary in SW Cumbria. A grade 2 listed Manor House, built in the 17th century, with plenty of eccentricity and old world charm. We are both experienced chefs and love to share the joy of our home grown & reared produce with our guests. We offer breakfast every morning at an additional £15/person and our 6 course small plates menu on Friday & Saturday evenings for £65/person.
