At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. The Captains Quarters at Sylvanrude is a step into a forest of Douglas Fir, Cedar, and Hemlock. The small apartment is above a garage, and is equipped with a coved ceiling bathroom, (tall folks beware) full kitchen, cozy sleeping area with a new queen bed on antique frame, TV with DVDs only, (wifi is through MIFI, a Verizon source), a private beach fire pit with beach access, and the most amazing sunsets over Case Inlet. If you are a bird watching enthusiast, don't forget the binoculars!

Enjoy the private lakefront and dock on the property and a brand new kitchen (remodeled 2024)! This classic 1-bed + loft A-frame is great for couples or small families who enjoy the outdoors! The bedroom features bunk beds for the little ones while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for the grown-ups. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame.

For an adventurous twist, grab a kayak or paddle board and explore the tranquil waters of this Gig Harbor lake. After a day of fun, relax next to the lakeside fire or enjoy a card game in the cozy gathering areas inside.

This is 20ft Cheyenne Tipi with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut is located in Lakebay, WA. Views across Puget Sound & Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard and bald eagles soaring above. This is glamping at its finest. When you wake in the morning, for heat you have central heating from a real furnace. Lying in bed you can control lights, Smart TV, and even the google hub. We can add a 4 people tent as well as a ‘pak ‘n play for infants upon request.

Our cabin is only a 5 min drive from Belfair State Park & 20 min from Twanoh State Park. Close to amenities & a short 12 minute drive to the Rodeo Drive-in Theater, one of the few drive in movie theaters left!
