We have lovingly renovated and refurbished this charming home, trying to stay true to its special character while creating a relaxing retreat for our guests. Down the Road Guesthouse

Welcome to Down the Road Guesthouse, your perfect base for exploring the Bay of Fundy’s highest tides in the world. Located just minutes from the Rocks Provincial Park, our historic five bedroom, two bath home has been in our family for more than 150 years, longer than Canada has been a country. It was completely renovated in 2017 while keeping the country character of the home. The property is large, with plenty of space inside and out, all within walking distance of the Bay of Fundy.

This charming little apartment is on the upper floor of a small-town historic home (separate side entrance & apartment), tucked away yet close to everything. Quiet and cozy, a 3-5 min walk to cafés, restaurants, trails, bars, shops, galleries, & grocery (+farmers market, bakeries, & specialty). 1-min walk to the iconic and serene waterfowl park; don’t miss walking the beautiful boardwalks through birches and birds! Close walking distance to Mount Allison University.

The Alton

Beautiful seaside cottage/house in rural N.S. French patio doors leading to 12'x12' deck. Fire pit. Clamming, fishing , beach combing (fossils, etc). Breath taking view of the Minas Basin. Sit on the deck and watch the eagles glide by. Golf course located 4 km away. Convenience store (NSLC)/ gas 5 km away. Very central location, if you are looking for quiet and serenity with a faster pace near by we are approx. 1 hour to Halifax, Truro & Wolfville.

Best Cottage on the Bay of Fundy

This cottage is located on the Bay of Fundy and has an ocean view. It has beach access from the front of the property. Enjoy a long walk on the beach when the tide is out or explore the rocks. If you want a quiet peaceful getaway or a perfect spot for a family gathering, this is the place. Fundy National Park is a 5 minute drive away, where you can hike, swim, play tennis or golf. The best thing about the cottage is that it is a private getaway.

Beautiful cottage overlooking the Bay of Fundy. With spectacular sunsets and access to beach ( 5 mins). This is the perfect spot for rock hounding, hiking, beach combing, bird watching or just kick back and enjoy a glass of wine and the view. Home of the highest tides in the world. Just a 10 minute drive to the quaint and unique community of Parrsboro, N.S which supports Maritime artists, music and theater.

Cozy Cottage

My place is close to Family-friendly activities such as Fundy National Park, Cape Enrage, the Hopewell Cape Rocks, Kayaking and Hiking trails. Tucked away on a quiet side street, this pleasant vacation home is just a short walk to the beach. The cottage offers accommodations for 6 adults. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, family freindly, and furry friends (pets).
