Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Hotspur Retreat is a recently renovated town house, a short walk from the centre of Alnwick, and its many visitor attractions. Over three floors, the house accommodates 3 bedrooms and a luxury bathroom, with feature bath and large waterfall shower. There is also a modern lounge with fire, fully fitted kitchen with granite work tops and integrated appliances, and patio doors leading to an outside dining area. This is our two bedroom cosy apartment situated just a stone’s throw from Alnwick market place. In fact it is above a cheese shop and close to a bakery. A perfect start to the day. You can also walk to the many other shops, cafes and restaurants. In Alnwick is the wonderful Barter Books where you can browse at your leisure and make good use of the cafe on site. Only a very short drive is the coast. Miles of beautiful beaches overlooked by impressive castles. What could be better?

This early nineteenth century property was once a Victorian School House but has been a dwelling for over a hundred years. In 2015 the property was renovated and no expense has been spared on this tastefully furnished apartment.
