You will find this property to be perfect for a business trip or a vacation get-away with all sorts of local amenities within walking distance! It's a few, short blocks from the NOAA Maritime Museum; Lady Michigan glass-bottom boat; the Alpena Small Boat Harbor; and the local beaches. It's also a centrally located launchpad for hiking or mountain biking at nearby Rockport State Rec. Area or Norway Ridge.

This place would be great for a large family or group to get away from the noise of the city. or a group working in the area. Located on 20 acres with a pond, plenty of wild life to see, Located just a few short miles from Lake Huron, Hubbard Lake, and only 15 Minutes from Alpena. A large trail system nearby, for snowmobiles, quads and other off road vehicles. Great place to just sit back and relax. Very Private, nearest neighbor is me, 20 acres away. No hunting or shooting allowed.

Two Trees Lake Huron Cottage, dog friendly

Two Trees is a light-filled home on Lake Huron that is a perfect spot for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Situated on a wooded lot, Two Trees sleeps four, and has a freshly updated kitchen and bathroom. The path to our private, sandy beach winds through the woods and down 38 stone steps - which are challenging for some. The house is a short drive to Lumberman's Memorial, Sturgeon Point Lighthouse, and Dinosaur Gardens. It is near US 23; there will be road noise.

Beautiful home on Long Lake

NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS THROUGH JANUARY 2ND, 2027! This beautiful, sprawling property is located on Long Lake in Hillman! Long Lake is spring fed, and appeals to boaters, swimmers, and fisherman! Each bedroom has it's own air conditioning unit and ceiling fan. Family room also has it's own air conditioning unit. Large deck and gazebo! New heated whirlpool tub in the master bathroom! Two person kayak to explore the lake! Pontoon rental available on the lake!

My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

2nd Retreat

This bright and quaint historical little house is one block from the downtown district. This 2nd retreat has a charming enclosed front porch for sitting, a quiet serene space to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, to read a book or just to sit and relax. We are in walking distance to a great Ice cream shop , the local winery, a quaint coffee shop, Mango's for margarita's and end the evening with the local movie theater. Enjoy the small town dynamic.

Modern cabin on the Thunder bay river

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of fun. This rustic cottage is on Lake Huron between Alpena and Ossineke. Great location to bask in the sun, swim, fish, visit Mackinac Island, see Ocqueoc Falls,, ice fish, ski, snow mobile, camp fires and so much more. Amazing spot to unplug and spend quality time with family.

The Depot

This unique rental is situated right next to the railway, conveniently located within walking distance of multiple amenities and not too far from downtown Alpena. The train passes through almost daily, giving a fun, industrial vibe to the property!

Our family home is across the street from Lake Huron and public beaches. It is also walking distance from the beautiful and historic downtown Alpena. We are putting a lot of time and love in to making this a fun and comfortable vacation home.
