The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

Safe and Sound (8 minutes from Liberty University)

One bedroom/ terrace apartment. Apartment has a full kitchen and deck area. There is a private parking space (room for two cars) and private entrance. The bedroom has a full bed. There is also a full air mattress for extra guests. The bathroom is off of the bedroom. We are about 6 minutes from Liberty University, 8 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Lynchburg College and 20 minutes from the hospitals. Discounts are given for stays seven or more days. The television is a Roku.

Bedrooms have room darkening shades. 300 Mbps wifi and a smart TV in the living room. Check out the Airbnb next door (Maple Glen) if you are traveling with a larger group.

Enjoy Roanoke's outdoor adventures and activites and stay at our cabin for a relaxing and peaceful evening by the fire. -We are just 1 mile off Hwy 220 -Just 25 min off hwy 81 and 15 min from Roanoke. -Centrally located between VA Tech & Liberty University/Lynchburg. -And 25 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake.

18th Century Cabin Retreat

Come enjoy our 18th century cabin! They don't make them like this anymore. One side built in 1750, the other in 1825. Sit under the giant white oak and enjoy the country air. This is a wonderful retreat to kick back and relax. Enjoy the pool, horseshoes, and fire pit. In the winter months, cozy up by the wood stove or fire place with gas logs. NO PETS!!! Please do not bring your pets. Owners live on site, so if you are in need of anything, please ask!
