'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

The cabin is 37 min drive to Ski Apache, 10 min drive to casinos.

There's a lovely deck on the back to watch the creek meander by and deer stop to take a drink! It's the perfect place to drink a cup of tea/coffee/wine and watch the world go by. In the winter, wrap up in a cozy throw by the fireplace! Great for couples and relaxing getaways; NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.

It is a beautiful, peaceful home at 7500' elevation. 3 smart TV's (Roku) with hi speed internet for your streaming accounts; local news via antenna. Our completely remodeled cabin is located in “Old Ruidoso”. It’s walking distance to Midtown and a short drive to Grindstone Lake, Ski Apache and Ruidoso Downs Race Track. We have a grill on our back deck with a seating area plus a hammock in the back yard. Our front deck has a 2 person porch swing where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. As frequent Airbnb guests we feel we have provided a great place for you to stay.
