Our Wooden Lodge with Hot Tub is in Dimmingsdale forest surrounded by fields, woodland and nature. Very peaceful. There is lots to do like rock climbing the Churnet valley Boulders, Eating and drinking at the 4 pubs of Alton. Walking the staffordshire way or exploring the many forest tracks on your doorstep. You may want a fun packed day at Alton Towers park or spa. Cook on the BBQ, sit on your tree swing or relax in our Hot Tub or toast marshmallows on your fire pit and listen to the owls hoot.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Idyllic cottage retreat

This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. This newly refurbished cottage consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed and the other with bunks including 1.5 modern bathrooms. Parking for 1 vehicle. Ideal for families and walkers alike. Dogs welcome. There is a small courtyard only but plenty of walks and fields for exercising your 4-legged friend.

The Shepherds Hut is nestled in our walled garden. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, bathroom, mini kitchen and a comfy bed area. The clever design allows both a dining table with chairs or comfy seating to relax by the wood burner. Our biofuel hot tub can be hired for your stay. Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.

The Loft Apartment at Chained Oak B&B

Welcome to the Chained Oak Loft Apartment. Located directly opposite Alton Towers theme park, part of Chained Oak Farm B&B, we are set in its own grounds of 24 acres of Woodland with stunning views overlooking the beautiful Churnet Valley countryside. Sleeping up to 5 people, the loft is located above the converted stable block which comprises modern country finishes and rustic charm which has been designed to provide premium accommodation in a beautiful rural setting.

Get cosy in our quaint Hutty/cabin it has all you need for a romantic weekend or a base for a walking holiday, Situated very close to Alton Towers and the Peak district is just a short drive away, and also some very scenic walks. unfortunately i cannot host pets or children under the age of 14,the two beds are together and are single box beds,I'm sorry but at the moment there is no WiFi on the property
