Set at the back of our property with private lane access, it offers comfort, privacy and a memorable stay if you are visiting family, attending special events in Melbourne, working or travelling.

We are located a 15-min walk at my pace (or 10-min walk at my wife's pace) from Altona main beach and Pier Street, 10-min walk to Harrington Square and a 30-min train ride to the CBD. A great base from which to explore our beautiful beaches and city.

Lakes Studio is a sweet little space situated on the border of Newport and South Kingsville in inner West Melbourne. Newport is approx. 15 mins from the CBD via car or train. We are less than 5 mins walk from a couple of cafes, restaurants, a small grocer and laundromat and a short 5 min bus ride from a shopping centre for anything larger you may need. On the doorstep is Newport Lakes precinct, comprising of self guided walks, birdlife, dog walking and great picnic spots.

You will get the entire bright, two bedroom house on its own block. Six minutes walk to Altona train station and a further 4 minute walk to the beach with Cherry lake at the end of the street. 30 minutes train to Melbourne CBD. House offers lots of privacy and off street parking. Foxtel movies to keep you entertained. Excellent central heating and cooling. Dog friendly. Please, no parties, or you will be asked to leave.

Bright and cozy 2 bed unit, located on a quiet street, a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of Pier Street and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy the local array of cafes and restaurants that Altona has to offer, or jump on the train at the end of the street with a 30 minute ride into the CBD and some popular western suburb stops along the way.
