Relaxin Retreat near the Blueridge Parkway

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, and the James River with many outdoor activities within minutes. Our cabin will accommodate 2 people based upon septic system and rules and regulations set by Bedford County . Our cabin is not kid friendly (infant-10 y). Please message us with any questions. Come back from sightseeing or from a hike and relax in the hammock, 6 person hot tub, or by fire pit.

Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Charming Yellow Cottage

Nestled in the scenic hills of Lynchburg, Virginia, the Yellow Cottage overlooks a pastoral landscape, as well as your own private gazebo, an old timey windmill, and a duck pond. You'll feel at ease in the cottage's many comfortable sitting areas, as well as its porch, equipped with large comfortable chairs. Honeymooners and others will enjoy a relaxing whirlpool bath, as well as a bedroom with floating king-sized bed and French doors. Other amenities: a 65" TV, a grill, and an airy kitchen.

This cozy guesthouse is a perfect getaway. It has SPECTACULAR views of the Priest and Three Ridges. Located in Massies Mill, it is a 20-30 minute drive to the Appalachian Trail, Wintergreen, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. It is also practically around the corner from Pharsalia Events. There are several convenience stores close by, but the closest grocery store is an 18 minute drive. Situated on 26 acres, there is more than a mile of marked trails available to walk as you wish.

This property is also home to our five farm horses! Guests are welcome to explore the 500 acres of Altamont Farm which offers miles of hiking trails, a variety of farm animals to meet, and 1.5 miles of James River frontage.
