The exterior has ample seating on the spacious deck and covered porch and a small bar overlooking the private covered dock and swim platform. The cabin is situated on 5.5 acres, with 1100 feet of water frontage.

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
