Relax on the James River at our cute cottage and tiny house. We have two separate units that come together. This is perfect for a family, where kids can stay in the tiny house and the parents sleep in the cottage. Or 2 couples to have their own space. The two separate units are joined by a large covered deck with great views of the James River, Hot Tub, eating table & Grill. The property has a boat ramp for small boats/kayaks. This is a great section of the river for floating, fishing, and more.

The Loft @Venue1848

The Loft has one bedroom with one queen size bed for 2 guests. If your 2nd guest needs an extra bed, you can add a king size blowup mattress OR a twin mattresses for $25 per night. Please message me your extra bed preference and pay me directly with cash or card before you checkout. If your Airbnb reservation includes an extra guest fee, there is no additional charge. Message me your extra bed preference. For the baby, we also have a Joovy Room 2. We are happy to accommodate your family.

This one bedroom, one bath home hosts a king bed, one full bath/shower combo, fully furnished kitchen, gas fireplace and coffee bar. Enjoy your days rocking on our front porch. The campfire ring offers a great view, morning sunrise or evening sunsets. Let your worries flit away here in this quiet, peaceful haven.

Bella Vista is your picturesque cabin vacation located on over 90 private acres in Virginia's Piedmont region. It is situated amongst rolling hills, mature forest, streams, and miles of hiking trails exploring the property. Bella Vista is truly the perfect place to relax and unwind over a half mile from any road. Our guests enjoy the cleanliness and comfort of the house, the privacy of location, the easy access to nature, and the local historical attractions.

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

A Perfect Country Getaway

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.

Ever wanted to know what it felt like to live in a one room log cabin? Now you have the chance! This cabin from the 1840s was meticulously reassembled on a 500 acre farm and sits right next to the James River. Come and enjoy the quiet, the river, and scenery and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is off-grid but with solar power lighting and seasonally dependent running water for an outdoor shower and sink nearby.
