The Loft has one bedroom with one queen size bed for 2 guests. If your 2nd guest needs an extra bed, you can add a king size blowup mattress OR a twin mattresses for $25 per night. Message me your extra bed preference. For the baby, we also have a Joovy Room 2. We are happy to accommodate your family.

The campfire ring offers a great view, morning sunrise or evening sunsets. Let your worries flit away here in this quiet, peaceful haven.

Bella Vista is your picturesque cabin vacation located on over 90 private acres in Virginia's Piedmont region. Our guests enjoy the cleanliness and comfort of the house, the privacy of location, the easy access to nature, and the local historical attractions.

One bedroom, basement apartment in well kept house. The apartment is furnished with antiques and set on the corner of a farm with good views. The apartment has a private entrance and parking just outside the door. We are a retired but active couple who live upstairs. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker and is stocked with coffee, tea, coffee fixings, snacks, and light breakfast items. We are 25 minutes to downtown Lynchburg and 20 minutes to Appomattox.

A Perfect Country Getaway

Heron Hill 49 is a place for people who want to unplug, get away, and appreciate the quiet of country life. It’s an ideal space to relax or to work without distractions. Fiber optic internet is provided; cell service is limited. (We recommend wi-fi calling.) Guests will enjoy walking the property, following Spring Creek, and exploring the remains of an old, hand-built stone dam in the woods. Birdwatchers will find an abundance of species.

A quick 20 minute drive leads you to downtown Lynchburg with even more dining and entertainment options.

The “White House” at Altamont Farms

This cozy farmhouse offers beautiful sunrise views and a relaxing country getaway! The White House was the original farm home built in the early 1900s and has been carefully restored. This property is also home to our five farm horses! Guests are welcome to explore the 500 acres of Altamont Farm which offers miles of hiking trails, a variety of farm animals to meet, and 1.5 miles of James River frontage.
