The cottage is located at the bottom of the main house's small private garden. It is quiet & secure. Half a minutes walk from Largs train station. Fully equipped for self catering. This studio style cottage has a shower room with towels ,shower gel, toilet rolls and handwash supplied. A small kitchen area with electric cooker, sink, fridge with ice box , kettle and toaster. The kitchen cupboard is stocked with complementary tea, coffee and cereal. The fridge will also be stocked ,fresh milk,etc.

It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.

Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. A Victorian Cabin perched on the banks of Loch Goil. Enjoy a picturesque stay over looking the breath taking Scottish Highlands. The Cabin consists of a walk in wet room with toilet and a very well equipped kitchen. Within the kitchen you will find a fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and crockery. The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

A stunning former lighthouse keeper’s cottage, Lighthouse Point has the most amazing views of the lighthouse and dramatic sea views down the Clyde approach, past Bute, towards Arran. Situated at Toward Point in Argyll, this beautiful cottage offers a luxurious stay with views to die for. If you can be tempted away from gazing out of the south facing sunroom, watching the sea, yachts and other marine traffic, it is less than two minutes’ walk to the water.

The property has 2 living areas and one can be configured as a big double bedroom, please let me know when booking how you want it to be set up. There is a king size in the main bedroom and bunks in the other. A Victorian flat with some original features. A gateway to Arran, Ayrshire and beyond . 2 beaches are a 15 minute walk. Less than 3 minutes walk are shops, takeaways and also a castle. ASDA and various restaurants are 15 minutes from the property.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
