Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

The Crow's Nest Coastal Studio

Please note: Maximum stay from May 1 - Sept 30 is 2 weeks. THE CROW'S NEST is a 739 sq ft, private, 2nd-story studio apartment above the detached garage of a waterfront home. It has 10' ceilings and is fully furnished with a private entrance. Walk down the path alongside the house & find incredible views of the bay and Mt Rainier. Use of our 2 small kayaks and the fire pit is free. Downtown quaint historic Gig Harbor is 5-7 miles away from this convenient and affordable guest house.

Welcome to our comfortable, peaceful Gig Harbor area suite. While the delightful downtown of Gig Harbor and the beautiful Puget Sound are just a few minutes away, this location is great and convenient for exploring the South Sound area of Washington State. The apartment suite is a dedicated space in the brightly lit daylight basement of our home with its own parking and private entry. Pedal around the lake (seasonal use May-Oct) in the home's 2-person pedal boat (life jackets provided), enjoy our SUP or kayaks on the lake or relax on the deck with something cool to drink while dinner is on the barbeque.
