We are in the middle of the village of Highclere on a country lane with many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Self contained annexe in Ashmore Green. Quiet, rural setting but just 10 mins from Newbury (town & racecourse). The surrounding countryside has many walks to enjoy and picturesque, quintessential English villages with wonderful pubs to stop at for lunch. We are also close to Highclere Castle, home of Downton Abbey plus a number of National Trust properties including Basildon Park. For families, we are a couple of miles from Bucklebury Farm Park and 15 mins from 4 Kingdoms Adventure Park.

The Annexe has its own off-road parking space. The Annexe is a 10 minute walk from the town centre and also only a 5 minute drive to the M4. It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, and the local market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pub for good food and a drink is a short walk away and the local farm shop is close by.

Manstone Cottage, Yattendon

Situated just outside the picturesque village of Yattendon, Manstone Cottage is surrounded by beautiful views of rolling country side. Spacious and elegantly furnished, with private parking the cottage is the ideal get away for couples, families or small groups. Within walking distance of the village with it's fantastic pub, shop, cafe, brewery and beauty salon you won't have much need to go far but it's also well situated for access to Newbury, Hungerford, Goring, Pangbourne and Henley.

Little Barber is a cosy and comfortable retreat for anyone wishing to get away for a relaxing stay in the countryside. Set amid Bucklebury Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interests (SSSI) and one of the largest commons in Berkshire it's a popular destination for bird watchers, walkers and cyclists. We have a gastro pub and a cafe just a 15 minute stroll away. Easy access to M4/A34. Oxford, 30miles. London 52 miles away. Parking for two cars. Pet friendly. Enclosed Patio.

Lovely self-contained annex with outdoor space

A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed. Secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The annex is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.
