A Vintage Independent House

Welcome to 'Tales of 1943' A property where 3-generations of my family were raised and today has been converted & renovated with modern and stylish interiors and amenities for you to experience. Located in the heart of Shillong city, this independent Assam-type home has been around for more than 80 years and is perfect for anyone looking for an escape. With timber-framed walls, slanting roofs, wooden floors, and a cozy fireplace in each room, this home is the perfect encapsulation of Shillong.

The Home Stay

You are at this charming, one-of-a-kind place in the city, spacious, quiet and a little away from the crowd. The Home Stay has 2 queensize beds & 1 comfy sofa cum bed and can easily accomodate 5 people. For a 4 + 3 booking, our guests can book the second property, a studio annexe at The Home Stay and can be accessed through the link - airbnb.com/h/the-home-stay-studio. The pool is a rainwaterharvesting unit and fresh water may not be available/feasible for swimming purposes all the time!

The "A" Frame

A Home to Coziest Memories. Come experience life in a tiny "A" Frame home wit minimalistic living equipped with a lounge & loft. Located about 5 kms fr main city, guests can enjoy their stay in a place a little away from town which is easily accessible by 4 or 2 wheeler. Guests have absolute privacy as only one home is located in the property. To make their visit more adventurous, guests can explore scenic places of their choice on Cycles or E-Cycles which can be rented out fr this facility

Danyeka Homestay

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Located right in the heart of Kohima town- Kenuozou. A locality nestled just below the 2nd biggest village in Asia- Kohima village. Our space is a spacious 2BHK apartment complete with a fireplace, a small terrace and one car parking space. Easy access to Billy Graham Road, Secretariat, High School, Meriema etc. There are restaurants and food markets located within walking distance.

KALITA'S BED & BREAKFAST

Guest can avail entire apartment with private kitchen, dining table,living room,bed room with double bed and single bed,balcony and garden with complimentary breakfast.Located in the heart of the city with all important places of the city within few kilometers from my homestay.Couple friendly.
