Verde Grove Cabins - "Oink"

Our lovely cabin offers a hot tub, screened in porch, gas grill, fire ring, and the amenities of home conveniently situated between Athens and Hocking Hills, in an ATV-friendly community. We are located near Nelsonville's Historic Arts District, the Nelsonville Music Festival, Hocking College, Hocking Hills State Park, Athens & Ohio University, Lake Hope State Park, and Wayne National Forest. "Oink" is located on 50 acres of privately owned property and is sure to meet your vacation needs.

Scatter Ridge Nature Preserve (276 acres)& Lodging

Rustic and cozy cabin nestled on 276 picturesque acres. Private woodlands with trails, waterfalls, caves, large rock overhangs and flora and fauna indigenous of the Appalachian foot hills region. Property is tucked between Wayne National Forest and Strouds Run State Park. Minutes from Athens, OH and Ohio University. Close to the Hocking Hills, Historic Nelsonville, Covered Bridge Scenic Byway, lakes & state parks. Scatter Ridge is 1 1/2 hours from John Glenn Columbus International Airport.

7 miles from Ohio University. Great for couples and families. Newly renovated A frame cabin in a country/ wooded setting. Cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/ dryer. We offer a smart TV with wifi for entertainment. The cabin is heated and cooled with mini split units, one down stairs and one in each bedroom. Each bedroom also has access to private porch decks. We are pet friendly. WE ARE NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT. I promise you will see a stinkbug, lady bug or wood beetle.

While you may just enjoy the hiking and scenery the property provides, you are 2 min from Athens and the Ohio University Campus. Spacious free parking for campers, boats, and outdoor gear. Yellow Dog Barndominium

Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.
