If you've ever wanted to experience living in a tiny home while fishing from the backyard come stay here! The second bedroom is a beautiful loft in this 6 year old 900 sq ft lakefront retreat. Cute Athens is only 5 miles away, and Canton's First Monday is 30 miles away. After a fun day of fishing, kayaking, SUP races, swimming in the lake, pedal boating, feeding the ducks, cornhole, or frisbee throwing enjoy a gorgeous east TX sunset with your favorite beverage and then a fire with s'mores.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Firefly Guesthouse - 宁静的湖畔度假屋

A unique cabin in the woods, just 20 minutes from Canton First Monday. Our lakeside guesthouse is a wonderful respite tucked away from the hustle of the city. Charming surroundings for an unforgettable girls retreat, or leave the husband here to fish while you shop! Sleep in a silo or on the screened sleeping porch as the coyotes howl. The Lallybrochs # 1

This is a great place for two couples or a couple with two kids to stay and visit the area. We are just 25 miles from Canton First Monday. There are two bedrooms and two baths with a kitchen. Great patio overlooking a beautiful view. It is a great place to sit and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. You can hear birds sing or watch an occasional deer stroll by. Beautiful Lake Athens is just around the corner and The Boathouse Restaurant. We are near The Texas Freshwater Fishery.

Beautiful home in a centrally located to enjoy the small town life of Athens, TX. Walking distance to downtown in a woodland setting. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the shaded back porch or the sunny front deck. Undercover parking for two cars and more on the driveway makes this a comfortable spot for a girls weekend at Canton. Blockout curtains and reliable wifi make it great for month long stays for traveling nurses, etc. Separate office available upon request.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
