We offer a 1st floor guest room & private bath inside our home near the Salisbury Cove area of Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor Lobster Pound, Mainely Meat BBQ, Utter Heaven Ice Cream & also Mini Golf is within walking distance. The Acadia NP Visitor Center, the start of the Park Loop Rd and downtown Bar Harbor are within 2 to 5 miles. Drive into Acadia or to the shops, restaurants & excursions of Bar Harbor or from late June to mid Oct, catch the free Island Explorer shuttle from the end of our road.

We moved from Alberta back to our Maritime roots and built a rustic home to share with new friends and old. Located upon a rolling hilltop, we offer a great view of the water and grazing horses & a full breakfast! We are a few km. off Hwy 104 (Exit #38) about half way from Halifax to Sydney, (2 hr from Hfx Airport) just west of the Canso Causeway. We have 2 suites - each with a private entry (flat access) so guests can come and go at their leisure -go for a walk or visit Cape Jack Beach.

2 Black Friar Inn and Pub Stained Glass Room

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.

Cottage on Main is centrally located in the heart of town across from the harbour wharf in beautiful Mahone Bay. It is within walking distance of extraordinary local shops, restaurants, cafes, local brewery, grocery store and more. Enjoy this charming property all to yourself and all that the town has to offer! Want to see different views of Mahone Bay? We have 2 bikes and 2 paddle boards available for guest use. The trails are handy and the water is calm!

Dominion Hill Country Inn - Lupine Cottage

Lupine Cottage is situated in a leafy clearing, steps from the forest. This private cottage features a living room with a futon bed and additional seating area, as well as a separate bedroom with a king size bed. The bathroom includes a bathtub/shower. The cottage is air conditioned with a smart television, WiFi, coffeemaker, and mini fridge.
