Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Grade ll listed Victorian Cottage set in the heart of the Medieval Village of Lavenham in Suffolk. Lavenham is the perfect place to visit and enjoy an all year round selection of festivals and events. There are many award winning galleries and boutique shops to browse with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. The Old Stables is a lovely two bedroom cottage converted to a high standard. The historic village of Needham Market has great transportation links via rail and road across the region to the coast, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and into London. Needham Market is a great central Suffolk location, from here it is quick & easy to get to see all the sights across Suffolk, from Southwold to Lavenham, Framlingham to Woodbridge you can explore easily from this historic and well connected market town.

The Cartlodge ( a converted Suffolk Cartlodge)

The Cartlodge is a converted timber framed Suffolk Cartlodge situated within the quiet and picturesque countryside of rural Suffolk. Approached by a long private driveway and surrounded by open fields, access to the accommodation is via the external staircase. Donkeys Rosie and Mollie and the sheep roam peacefully in the adjoining meadows. The Cartlodge makes an ideal base for exploring the countryside with the market town of Woodbrige and and the popular Sutton Hoo site just 10 miles away.
