The Queen's Hut This picture perfect log cabin sits on the banks of a secluded loch just a stone's throw from Aboyne on Royal Deeside. The Hut was originally built for Queen Mary, the wife of King George V, who enjoyed lunching here during her visits to Balmoral. The property has recently been renovated to a excellent standard and a special effort has been made to honour the history of the Hut and its location on Royal Deeside. Our bright and modern one bedroom apartment provides an ideal base from which to explore Royal Deeside! There is an abundance of leisure pursuits, fine dining and shopping on our door step! Walking/running/cycling/trails/hills/scenery/fishing/lochs and rivers/castles/road biking/mountain biking/ just relaxing!/amazing food and drink! We also have an electric car charging point should you wish to discuss car charging options. A few cupboards and drawers aren’t usable. Please do not open them

Relax at our peaceful, well-equipped and comfortable Cottage. Cottage has outside dining table and chairs , fire pit , logs and log burning stove inside. We provide complimentary logs for both . Bike storage with charging. A short, safe walk into Aboyne. Aboyne Loch, old Railway line and Aboyne Golf Course are across the road, which makes for an active or totally relaxed holiday. We're just a short drive from castles, waterfalls, and great trails. Shops, Bars and Restaurants are 5 minutes by car!

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home.
