There are beaches with safe swimming very close by as well as opportunities to moor small dinghy’s and sailing craft. Island View is a 15 minute drive from Skibbereen.

We like art, design, cooking & gardening & our home reflects this ! We hope you make Garden House your home while you stay! Also two adult bicycles & helmets available for use during your stay so you can enjoy some of the amazing cycle routes on the country lanes, which surround the house!

It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
