Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It sleeps up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the night sky is excellent for star gazing. Red kites and hares are seen often. Licence No HI-20261-F

With boundless bird life including Osprey, the gardens make an ideal spot for birdwatching. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Cosy bungalow in nice wee village; shops and train/bus routes. The Ground floor is included in this listing; upstairs is kept for storage. One double bed only, the listing says one bed in lounge, only sofas but I can’t correct this… There is a covered deck out the back door, great for sitting out in the rain! Good base for access to rest of NW Scotland; on the edge of the NC500, 14 miles from Inverness. Please read the house manual; note this is a quiet street and not a party house..

Please note that the hut doesn't have wifi but we have books and games to keep you
