Saltwell Cottage Seahouses

Available from Monday 4th July 2022 Gorgeous fully renovated detached cottage in the heart of the bustling seaside village of Seahouses. The property has undergone extensive renovation to provide a stylish, luxury four bedroom, four bathroom cottage with sunny gardens to the front and rear. A spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen with bi fold doors leading on to the garden with sunny patio, provides the ideal sociable living space for a holiday with family or friends. At Saltwell Cottage, there are four bedrooms, three king size with en-suite bathrooms and a twin (full size adult singles) which has use of the family bathroom together with free standing bath and walk in shower. There is off street parking for up to three cars. The cottage is very well located; only a short five minutes walk down the main street or the Heritage Path to the beautiful beaches of Seahouses and its bustling harbour. The cottage is close to the village shops, delis, cafes, pubs, restaurants and club and of course Seahouses' many award winning fish and chip shops! Some of the beautiful villages of the north Northumberland coast are just a few miles away. Both Bamburgh and Beadnell are less than three miles in either direction and are accessible by foot along a sealed path. The town of Alnwick, with its 'Harry Potter' castle and stunning Alnwick Gardens is only a 20 minute drive and the glorious Cheviot Hills can be easily reached from the cottage. Or if you just want to stay put, Seahouses has loads to offer from boat trips to the Farne Islands, crabbing on the harbour, boarding in the dunes to crazy golf and amusements. Topped off with some popular bars and restaurants. Golf enthusiasts will love Seahouses golf club, enviably positioned on the links overlooking the Farne Islands. Silver Fox Barn, Chatton, near Bamburgh

Silver Fox Barn is a stone barn conversion in the hamlet of Hetton Hall, near Chatton, which we fell in love with and fully refurbished in 2015. If you want peace and quiet, fresh country air, and an abundance of wildlife, this is for you. Warm and cosy, with beamed ceilings and a log fire, the Barn is furnished with hand-crafted furniture by Indigo, comfy modern sofas, and finishing touches of local and historical interest. Ground floor - Entrance hall with cloaks and WC. Snug room with TV, DVD and games. Farmhouse style kitchen with pine table, range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, combi microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors opening out to the enclosed front garden and patio area. Lounge with wood burning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD and arch over patio doors leading to the rear enclosed garden. First floor - Bedroom 1 with a Super king-size bed, en-suite shower room, heated towel rail and WC, and walk-in dressing room. Bedroom 2 with a Super king-size bed. Bedroom 3 with Twin beds. Availability - All year, normally a minimum of 7 nights, but short breaks are possible by arrangement.

Probably the best view on the Island. Look East to the Farne Islands and watch sunrise over two castles and the Island harbour or Lindisfarne Priory. Centrally located with parking right outside your door you will find Sea View the perfect place to plan your day. The old Fisherman’s cottage has sympathetically restyled from top to bottom into a cosy retreat for you to kick back relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The large private garden has a decking area and summer house for you to enjoy.

Set midway between Bamburgh and Seahouses and set in wonderful countryside, yet on the cusp of the golden beaches and coastline The cottage is on the farm,where there are eight private camping pitches, Oswald’s Rest is set to the side in its own setting with a secluded private garden. Bamburgh is a short drive (or a 3 mile coastal walk)

The Annex in Belford tiny place with a big heart

The Annex is a 260yr old listed building originally a tiny hay barn, recently renovated to a high standard that provides our guests with a comfortable stay with light breakfast included and is perfect for that well deserved break. Please note this is adults only. Because of size of Annex. WE CANT ACCEPT LARGE DOGS. unfortunately there isn’t enough room. But we love seeing all the different dogs who come on their holidays happily enjoying themselves in the very safe fenced courtyard.
