Black Cockatoo Bangalow is located in the picturesque Byron Hinterland 5 mins from Bangalow and 15 mins from Byron Bay. Just a short drive from all the beautiful beaches, eclectic events and markets the far north coast has to offer, yet as the only home on a 220 acre cattle farm, guests are guaranteed peace, privacy and a taste of idyllic country life. Native wildlife and birdlife abound and the river which runs around the back of the house is teeming with fish, turtles and platypus.

The location is ideal, walk to town, private and spacious - open sitting room onto decks - cooking facilities for longer stays, outside/inside living - barbeque . Perfect for couples, an extra king single bed available, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (dogs).

Our cosy little corner is the perfect spot for your old-school North Coast holiday. With beautiful Tallow Beach right across the road, grab your cozzies and towel and head barefoot down the pandanus lined path. In 10 mins you can be mooching around Byron or heading for a hinterland jaunt. Choose cocktails and a fab dinner out, or come home for a cheese plate and rosé, or a pot of a tea and a book.
