Big R's Retreat Secluded and located in Nature

Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Our 9 acre property offers a beautiful trail that leads to gorgeous sunset views, through the forest. A true nature-lover's paradise!

Open concept with a two story fireplace, porch fireplace, firepit, and open loft for sleeping (1 bed), with spiral stairs, lots of windows, walnut floors and trim, oak beams and pine kitchen tops. Shower is big and open, with doors opening to a back deck for outdoor showering. Beautiful covered porch overlooking rolling meadows and woods.

Fox River Barn is located in a picturesque setting with stunning views of the Fox River in Princeton, WI. This 1940s barn has been lovingly converted into a comfortable living space with modern features and amenities, making it the perfect retreat for a romantic getaway or a peaceful escape from the city. Inside, the bones of the barn are present. From beams and rafters on the main level to the tall, gable barn ceiling. Just imagine all the different ways the barn had been used over time.

"Up North" cabin decor with modern amenities. Cute A-frame cabin nestled amongst mature red & white pines. Outside space to run & play or relax by the campfire or fireplace inside. Chargrill available. Bring your own charcoal. Living room with TV, dining area, kitchen & pantry, bathroom, & bedroom with a queen size bed on main level. The "loft" upstairs has 2 bedrooms, 1 with 2 twin beds , & the other space with a queen size bed and a reading area that opens up to your own private balcony.

Take it easy at this rustic authentic log cabin. Deep in the woods, your private haven awaits on over 10 acres to hike or hunt. Enjoy the stunning rock formations in the backyard and shady trees welcoming you along the drive to this peaceful escape! Sit on the wrap around deck and watch the deer, turkey and other wildlife or build a bonfire to warm yourself on the cool evenings. This is a truly unique and tranquil getaway. Less than 20 minutes to all the action of The Wisconsin Dells.

5 miles from downtown Baraboo, you can follow the country roads through the Baraboo Bluffs to a majestic timber frame cabin. Tucked away on over 30 acres you'll find relaxation by the stocked pond, adventure out in the woods or cozy up by the wood burning fireplace (firewood not supplied) If you’d like to venture out , Devils lake is 15 mins, Wisconsin Dells 20 mins, and 2 ski resorts are within 25 minutes. Wineries, breweries, distillery, shops and restaurants can be found in the area.

The Tumbled Rock Microbrewery/Restaurant has live music during the summer, which you can view from the front porch. The cabin boasts a huge backyard that your family & friends will enjoy.
