Whether grilling on the lighted deck or sitting in the spacious sunroom, the view of the lake is always right in front of you. Once known for being the location of a small bait store, the property has been transformed into a charming cabin like home with a high perched porch and deck overlooking the water.

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

The outdoor space has 3 fenced areas for dogs, two gas grills for outdoor cooking, a fire pit, porch for lounging. For boaters, there is a long driveway with plenty of room for truck and boat, includes outdoor electric.
