Phil's Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom stone cottage with stunning countryside views. The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating . Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

Haven Cottage is a self contained detached 2 bed stone cottage in rural Cotherstone near Barnard Castle. You have exclusive use. Set on a quiet lane, the converted stable overlooks open meadows. Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

This relaxing riverside cottage combines oodles of charm with breathtaking views of the River Tees and easy access to the historic market town of Barnard Castle (locally known as Barney). Step straight out of the front door onto the Teesdale Way, one of the many rural footpaths crisscrossing this beautiful, largely undiscovered part of the country. Or take a short stroll into Barnard Castle to discover its rich heritage and enjoy the warm hospitality of its many cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Centrally located in the fantastic village of Gainford which is set on the banks of the River Tees. The Nook is a beautifully appointed modern and bright two bedroom apartment, full of charm and character which overlooks the village. The apartment shares a Victorian building with its sister apartment, The Loft, and the Village shop. Opposite is the warm and friendly village pub, The Cross Keys, and 200 yards away is the village green with off road parking provided in the car park opposite.

This very old, very tiny cottage offers guests a truly cosy place to stay. You’ll find everything you need in just 18 square metres! Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

The Old Yeast House, The Bank. Central Location!

Quiet space in the centre Barnard Castle, near the historic Marketcross. Perfect to explore all the independent shops and as a base for walking and cycling Teesdale. We provide a kitchenette for making snacks and hot drinks, and in the town are amazing cafes, restaurants and take-aways. A car parking space is available in the courtyard, you will need to drive through a tight alleyway to access this, if your car is larger, there is parking over the road! Free WiFi. Books and games

Ideal for a party of 2,3 or 4 (or even 5 if small ones!), the Coach House has been recently converted. A beautiful location for walking, cycling and exploring Teesdale or further (Lake District in approx. 40 mins). Cotherstone has 2 country pubs, & Barnard Castle is a lively market town with many independent retailers, restaurants & cafes.

A truly amazing location! This wonderful house sleeps six comfortably and offers a unique view of the Tees and Barnard Castle's castle. Perfect for walking, bird watching, photography and touring the wonderful North East. There is also fishing… riparian rights provide the right to fish (with a licence). Barnard Castle is a lovely town to wander around and is only a 5 minute walk away. Families with young children are asked to message in advance.
