Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Explore Mammoth Cave National Park, kayak the Green River or trek through Dinoworld then relax in the hot tub while the kids or the pup plays in the fenced in back yard. The fire pit is a perfect place for s’mores. Enjoy sharing a meal in the fully stocked kitchen or head down the street and pick up pizza and ice cream from the locally owned shops in Cave City. A one of a kind farmstead experience, stay in a newly constructed barn on our 350 acre dairy farm. The Mattingly farm is home to Kenny's Cheese, farmstead cheese made right here on our farm and you have a unique opportunity to stay in the heart of the action, in our brand new apartments directly above the dairy barn. You will be welcomed by our friendly dairy cows and possibly a new baby calf, or two. And because our cheese is AMAZING, we will leave some in the fridge for you to try.

We are excited to present our tiny guest home #2. Perfect for the fisherman or couple wanting to stay close to Barren River Lake or Mammoth Cave. This unit is centrally located between several towns and less that four miles from Port Oliver Boat Ramp and Dam. It is close to the main house so we will be available if you need anything. Peaceful surroundings, comfortable queen bed, refrigerator, microwave and coffee bar. 55" smart tv to kick back & relax with. Exterior outlet for boat.

Our tiny house sits down by our pond tucked away into the woods and is very private and secluded. Sit out on the front porch and watch the deer. Play games, read a book, go fishing or just rest and relax. Located just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) and Mammoth Cave (55 min).
