‘ The Nook' is a cosy 1 bed holiday cottage, which is set in the village of Laneham, North Nottinghamshire. The cottage has a number of quirky features, exposed beams, a wood burning stove and a hot tub. The village boasts one of the best pubs in the area 'The Bee's Knee's, which is a 30 second walk. Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

Quiet village location, on the very edge of Sherwood Forest,self contained annex. Sherwood pines/Forest,Go ape,creswell crags,Thoresby park,clumber park,Center parks and Rufford abbey all within 4miles. Drop works Rum Distillery 3miles. 2.5miles to the nearest EMR station. 2 minutes walk to bus stop for Mansfield. Village cafe and bars within 10 minute walk. Local walks and cycle routes nearby.

Enjoy the use of our home in the central area of Worksop, only 5mins walk from the train station or 10 mins from the M1. Lots of local amenities, with a Cafe a few doors down if you don't want to rustle up your own food in the kitchen. We had a couple of iffy reviews due to the old kitchen, so we closed down in April and installed a brand new modern kitchen for our future guests

Lovely cosy bungalow in popular village close to Retford. Private garden, drive with parking for three vehicles. Two large bedrooms and a third room with large double sofa bed and french doors that open onto the garden. The sofa bed is recommended for occasional use only to accommodate two further guests.
