The Barn, Hollybush, Laxton is the perfect peaceful getaway for couples, families, dog walkers & cyclists. Set in the Nottinghamshire countryside close to Sherwood Forest, Laxton is England's last open field village, yet only 7 mins from the A1. Located next to the delightful dog friendly, Dovecote Inn and 15 mins from the popular Duke William, guests can cook in the Barn kitchen or eat out. The Barn is well situated for Newark Antiques Fair, Lincoln and the Dukeries. Bike store available.

The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this brand new converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Zara’s retreat

We have 2 self contained lodges available for weekend breaks and holidays. Unfortunately we do not allow children. We allow one small dog please inform us prior to arrival. We are located behind a equine centre with ménage . The lodges look down onto the chesterfield canal which offers lovely canal side walks. The village of misterton offers good local amenities including a pub, several takeaway stores and a local shop We are located on the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire

Spacious en-suite bedroom, another double bedroom, bathroom, lounge & fully fitted dining kitchen. Outside there is a paddock to be enjoyed, outdoor seating & off-road parking. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Centrally located between Historic Cathedral city of Lincoln, market town of Newark, Gainsborough & Retford with plenty to see and do in the area.

Shepherd Hut in Tranquil Setting

Our Shepherds hut was built as a labour of love and is set in a leafy secluded spot in our 2 acre garden. Surrounding you is blissful green complete with pond and your own personal fire pit, with our sleepy campsite nearby. The space has a delightful kitchen/living area and super comfy double bed. There is electric light and heating, and the space is stocked with kitchen essentials, bedding and household items. The new toilet and shower block is just a a short walk away.
