I am the “River Rock Cabin". I sit atop the banks of the Betsie River, a few miles from Crystal Mountain. Some of my features are my kitchen, wood floors and log furniture. My unique finishes include my stair rail, my fish, and my river rock kitchen back splash hence my name. If you stay with me, I have 4 beds, cable tv and Wi-Fi. My outdoor amenities include a fire pit, patio, picnic table, chairs and a grill. You can access the river from my doorstep, however, please do this at your own risk.

Relax & play at the cozy Betsie River Log Cabin. We work hard to make your stay the best. The cabin is on the Betsie River in Thompsonville, MI, 5 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski & Golf & Spa Resort. Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

The cabin is located 1.5 miles from Crystal Mountain, 15 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes, and biking right from the cabin, restaurants and dining are within 1 mile. Renters have loved the place because of the location to Crystal Mountain, the cozy cabin, easy access to the dunes, Traverse City, and isolated from the crowds.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with children 2 years and older). During any holiday there is a 3-day​ minimum requirement to stay. Children

Enjoy bicycle riding we are less than a mile from the paved bike path/rails to trails, 15 miles from Crystal Mnt. Entering your cabin you will enjoy a new memory foam, queen-sized bed in a private studio cabin. Featuring a kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, and free fast wifi! Log cabin hand built by my dad in the early 70’s (my mom helped too!). Live like the Brady Bunch with authentic orange kitchen counters, with modern updates like a cozy gas stove, great knives and cookware, and high-quality linens. Private and fenced with deck and fire pit. Cabin is central to the Manistee National Forest, a short jaunt up to Sleeping Bear Dunes or Crystal Mountain, and the North Country Trail is just down the road. Ask me about fishing charters!

Kitchen features open pipe shelving, copper sink, and is fully stocked.
