Tiny, cosy cottage: 3 mile beach on the doorstep

South Devon is really a beautiful area and Sunnyview has an amazing position in the coastal village of Torcross, sitting within an AONB. 3 miles of beach on your doorstep and the SW Coast Path running behind the garden, there is so much to explore in this magnificent area. It's one of cosiest cottages in the country, more akin to a boat, with some clever design features to make creative use of the space. The views are magnificent and it's definitely one of those special boltholes to discover!

Flat with stunning views

With unrivalled views of Start Bay and Slapton Ley the flat is a perfect place to unwind. Relaxing on the balcony you can enjoy watching wild birds and on the odd occasion otters, there is direct access to the Torcross waterfront and the long shingle beach along with The Start Bay Inn and The Boathouse. Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe are all a short drive away with their independent shops and excellent pubs and restaurants. Stunning walks along the SW coast path give access to secluded bays.

Stay in a beautiful handcrafted Shepherd's hut with wood burning hot tub, overlooking the rolling Devon hills surrounding the Salcombe Estuary. This hut has been lovingly crafted from reclaimed materials salvaged from the working farm, set amidst an area of outstanding natural beauty. "The Bothy" is a cosy loft room with ensuite. It is perfect for a short getaway for those who enjoy the outdoors. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walks and great pubs nearby. It is located in a small hamlet near Chillington - it's rural so a car is essential. We are a 10 minute drive from the South West Coastal Path, and Beesands Torcross beaches. For walkers of the coastal path, we offer a pick-up drop-off service. Please message for details.

Rose Byre is a stunning, recently refurbished barn conversion, set in a pretty walled courtyard with private parking. Ideal for exploring this outstanding area of South Devon. Beesands with its renowned pub & fish restaurant and the coastal path are less than a mile away. The barn is situated approx. 6 miles from Kingsbridge and 8 miles from Dartmouth. Salcombe is easily reached by foot ferry from East Portlemouth 5 miles away.
