Welcome! Las Amapolas offers a spectacular view of the Belize Barrier Reef. Our beachfront casita is tucked among swaying coconuts palms on the sandy shores of Ambergris Caye. Once a part of a coconut grove, its now a peaceful tropical retreat just 30 minutes away from town by golf cart and a short ride to Secret Beach. You may occasionally notice sargassum on the shoreline, a natural occurrence caused by seasonal ocean currents and weather patterns. We have two units available: 1A and 1B.

Sitting room on first level and a screened bedroom with small screened veranda on 2nd level. A futon accommodates a child (7 yrs. or older) on 1st level. The Treetop shares a Common area (50 ft. away) with no more than 2 other guests and includes Hot water, WiFi, Full Kitchen Facilities with dedicated fridge for the Treetop, toilet, sinks, and shower , Dining Gazebo

We are Gold Standard certified. We are two Canadians that sold everything we owned, packed it into a Jeep, and decided to embark on the journey of a lifetime. We built two eco-conscious cabins located in the heart of beautiful Placencia, just minutes walking distance from the beach, pier, restaurants, and local amenities and events. We don't offer A/C, but we do offer a pool and each cabin is equipped with a ceiling fan and a large positionable fan for your comfort.
