Stone Rise Cottage, Belper

Stone Rise Cottage was built in 1874 and has been renovated to its characterful feel today. Entering through the stable-front door, is a traditional kitchen with all the necessities. Beyond this is the lounge with log burner, beams and doors to the stone terrace. There’s also a quaint dining room for evening meals. Upstairs is a modern, renovated bathroom with bath and traditional shower. There are two double bedrooms, both with an elegant feel and a double wardrobe in the second.

The cottage is located in what us locals call the 'town end' and the prime location to enjoy walks and everything that the village has to offer. From its courtyard garden Sunnyside over looks the beautiful Amber Valley and is a superb place to locate yourself for exploring the local countryside and towns such as Matlock, Belper and Cromford.
