We call this place "The Shed". It is part of a commercial building that we have transformed into a comfortable & cozy getaway! The name of the game is convenience! We are right on snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, close to fishing & boating on the lake, close to golf, shopping, lots of restaurants & all of the wedding venues! There is room to park your sleds, boats or trailers! Spend the day enjoying all that Crosslake has to offer then come home to cozy up to a nice warm fireplace!

Cozy Acres Retreat

This first floor apartment is about 1400 sq feet, plenty of room for a family. The space has been renovated and furnished with the thought of families/friends wanting to stay in a country setting in the North woods of MN. Beautiful home in the country only 10 minutes from Bemidji, and several different lakes. We have cattle that are like pets. Each spring we have calves that are fun to watch play all summer. Clean, cozy, peaceful and quiet. Plenty of space inside and outside for exploring.

Tree House

The Tree House, an upstairs dwelling, is in a peaceful setting. A unique topography supports numerous species of wild life including nearly 200 species of birds. The Tree House is located near the head waters of the Mississippi river, Tamarac National Wild Life Refuge, Detroit Mountain Recreation Area, golf courses, casinos and North Country Trail. A full kitchen and a comfortable indoor setting makes a lovely getaway. The rock fire pit is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Kick back and relax in this brand new calm, and stylish space located on Pine Mountain Lake, just waiting for you to enjoy. Pine Mountain is an excellent walleye lake and there is room at the dock for your boat. There's a public access with a beach across the lake in Backus or head over to the sandbar with your favorite beverage and floatie. Two kayaks are also available for your use. Near the entrance to the Foothills State Forest for hiking, fishing, 4 wheeling, and snowmobiling.

The Family Getaway is a rustic comfortable first floor unit with a private deck overlooking one of the most sought-after lakes in the area. We call this space “The Dojo” because for 17 years we operated it as a karate school, before moving our school to another location. It is part of a commercial building that we have transformed into a stylish and spacious retreat for your family. This unit is only 1 mile to the boat landing for boating and fishing. We are right on the snowmobile trail, close to bike trails, hiking trails, golf, restaurants , shopping,wedding venues and everything that Crosslake has to offer.
