Nearby are the Appalachian Trail, National Forest, State Park, hiking and cross country ski trails, boating, fishing, and swimming, private dock, antiquing, restaurants, art museums, history, and theatre. This is a cultural and naturalist's wonderland. Recently fully renovated. Not suitable for young children.

This wonderful year-round retreat is a short drive to skiing at Mt. Snow, boating in Harriman Reservoir, and easily accessible to local amenities.

There's skiing mins away at Mount Snow, swimming at Harriman Reservoir, as well as hiking, golf, mountain biking, antiquing, breweries, and some of the best food VT has to offer.

Across the street from Prospect Mountain (cross-country skiing and snow shoeing) and about 25-30 minutes to Mount Snow (downhill skiing). Vast snowmobile trail nearby. Visit the quaint general store nearby or go hiking in Woodford National State Park. At 2,000 ft elevation, the stars are on stage when it's a clear night.

For skiing, this home is in proximity to Magic (8min), Bromley (9min), Okemo (25 min) and Stratton (20 min).
