A beautiful and charming one-bedroom Victorian townhouse built in 1835, with a private courtyard garden. A unique, quirky experience. Situated in Oxford's cool suburb of Jericho, its quiet location is walking distance from all the famous historic sights, and closer still to the vibrant local restaurant, pub and bar scene. My 84 reviews averaging 4.95 stars over the last few years don't show here, as I have recently moved off an agent's platform and Airbnb's tech didn't let me move them over!

Each bedroom has its own bathroom, meaning it's as suitable for two couples as it is for a romantic city break or four friends. One on-street parking permit is available, while the train station is a short walk away.

Easy access to famous local villages/towns like Marlow, Hambleden, Goring & Turville. Wonderful countryside & riverside walks within 5-10 min. The house is comprised of a open lounge/dinning area with comfortable furniture, 1 bedroom, family bathroom, kitchen and a garden.

We do respect our guests privacy but are available if need be. A short walk from town/train stations and supermarkets, restaurants and pubs located near by.

Large desk. Reliable broadband. Netflix, BBC iPlayer. Two toilets. Pretty garden. Great local restaurants, cafés, delis, small supermarket 2min. A short stroll to Ashmolean, Maths Inst & the new Humanities Centre. City centre 10min. I'm a hands-on superhost, 12 yrs' experience, not an agent.

It's ideal for a couple and a perfect romantic retreat. The host can book cheap parking for you (£5 per day) just a few minutes walk from the house, to make your stay super easy.
