This great property is centred in the seaside town and is the largest of the two cottages that we host. Free parking on the doorstep. 30 second walk to stunning curved beach, promenade, off shore sculpture and links golf course. Walking distance to local amenities and church point where dolphins are sighted. From here you can explore the rest of this heritage coastline. Newcastle’s city centre is less than 30 mins drive. Alnwick castle(filming location for Harry Potter)is a 45 min drive in land.

Relax and rest at the seaside, we're a stone's throw away from Tynemouth longsands, Cullercoats Bay & Tynemouth Village. Park up your car on our drive & spend the rest of the week on the beach, at the station market, in the bars, coffee shops and restaurants. Enjoy the many sports available surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, open water swimming, golf, cycling or build a sandcastle . Newcastle is a 25 minute metro ride away & the apartment is easily in walking distance from both train stations.

Coulter Cottage - luxury home

Park your car, have your groceries delivered and spend the week doing a variety of activities within walking distance. Go to the mile long sandy beach, play golf on 18 or 9 hole courses or take golf lessons, play tennis, panel tennis, putting or bowling, hire canoes, windsurfers, dinghies and wetsuits. Fox pod is one of 6 hand built wooden glamping pods with a private Jacuzzi hot tub on a family run glamping site. Its hidden down a farm track in the middle of farmland. It has fabulous countryside views, and access to public footpaths /scenic walks, one of which takes you to the farm shop with coffee shop and forest adventure trail. Its a 10 minute drive into Durham City with a Castle, Cathedral, University, market, shops, cinema, bowling, and rowing boats for hire on the stunning river.
