Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. Joan and I live on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r." Diversity is welcome.

River Hideaway

Knotty pine nearly throughout, whirlpool bathtub, granite countertop, new appliances, washer/dryer. Cookware & dinnerware provided. Outdoor gas grill (& older charcoal) and fire bowl (bring own firewood). WiFi not available & cell service is marginal. There is a queen sz bed downstairs, the loft has a futon that flattens into small double bed, and there are 2 twin beds. No large, loud parties that go on into the night as there are neighbors, including the owners.

Big living room to hang out in! Year round fun at this cozy cabin. Visit the local brewery or wine bar + the best coffee in town is right up the road!

September-perfect fall colors to enjoy @ the river

This cabin has 130 feet of direct frontage on the Snake River. Wooded acreage gives you privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from MPLS, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place for you to shop and grab a bite. You can use the kayaks or tubes to float down to the St. Croix, or hang a fishing line out and see what you catch! Message me for ideas! Have a large family? Driveway may be icy in the winter months so please plan accordingly. Note: Max occupancy is 3 persons. No parties or pets please.

This small rustic cabin is perfect for a romantic get-away or intimate vacation. Located on 2.5 wooded acres on the Snake River, you can enjoy 500 feet of river shoreline. In the summer spend your time swimming, fishing and relaxing by an outdoor fire, while in the fall and winter cozy up near the wood fire stove in the cabin or relax in the wood-fire sauna.
