Isla has plenty to see and many enjoyable walks within fortified walls containing centuries of history.

The property is located just a few steps away from the Birgu main square where one would find various restaurants. The property is also 400m away from the Birgu Waterfront, here one would find more restaurants infront of the sea and many more attractions such as a ferry service which leads to Valletta and the 3 cities, the bridge leading to Senglea and most of all the iconic Fort St.Angelo.

Driftwood – Sea, Sunsets & Village Square Charm

Driftwood is a 4-storey, traditional Maltese house, located in the square of Kalkara, beside the steps of the local church, in the proximity of the well sought, Three Cities. You'll enjoy the rooftop all to yourself, with deckchairs, a BBQ and a great view of the harbour and the bastions. The bus stop is just outside your door, as well as coffee shops, bakeries and take-away places. Top-notch restaurants at the Birgu Seafront and the Rinella beach are also withing walking distance.

The Olive 3 - Traditional Maltese Accommodation

Set in the heart of the quaint town of Birgu (Citta Vittoriosa), is this lovely townhouse. Brimming with character and history, Birgu is a medieval town filled with meandering narrow alleys, beautiful streetscapes and characteristic architecture. The townhouse itself has plenty of authentic features including thick stone walls, a traditional Maltese balcony, traditional Maltese patterned tiles and a typical wrought iron staircase. It is newly refurbished and finished to high standards.

Birgu Hideaway - The Nook

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, a 10 minute stroll from the bustle of the Birgu Waterfront. This 400 year old apartment is tucked away in the most historic part of the City, known as il-Collacchio, where the knights' Auberges and the Inquisitor's Palace are located. The street is traffic free and you can enjoy sitting out on the balcony and watching the world go by. The apartment has been lovingly restored, keeping its character while enjoying all modern amenities.

My refurbished seafront first floor apartment facing the historical town of Senglea is situated in the victorious city of Birgu (Vittoriosa). Right into the spectacular Birgu's harbour creek this apartment enjoys 180 degrees unobstructed breath taking views. Valletta (World Heritage by Unesco) the capital city of Malta which has been also chosen as the City of Culture 2018 is reachable in only 15 minutes by ferry from my apartment. Ferry berths a few metres away from my place.
