Fries is adjacent to the New River and New River Trail. The river and trail are a few blocks from the cottage- within walking distance. The river is a popular place for tubing, kayaking, and fishing! The New River Trail has 57 miles of great hiking and biking. The outdoor hot tub awaits when you return from a day of outdoor fun!

Creekside Cottage is a modern detached tiny house, with treehouse vibes, private walkway and bridge that leads you to your getaway! It has an efficiency kitchen, full bath and a loft for sleeping. Creekside is a Loft Cottage, with plenty of natural light and beautiful views of our Horse Farm. Back covered deck faces our rolling pastures, wood lines, with perfect view of horses, deer, wild turkey, and an occasional bear. It sits over our running creek. Perfect for a Quiet and Secluded getaway.

Mountain Creek Lodge 2 Bedrooms/2 Bath

Mountain Creek Lodge is a full house accommodation with two bedrooms and two baths. It can sleep up to six with our Queen size Futon. Full kitchen access with a snack and coffee bar provided. Our lodge has a beautiful outdoor wildlife/nature setting. While some may enjoy family entertainment around the fire pit, others may enjoy the relaxation of the hot tub. Will host special events or surprises as requested!- and since "finding the muted image of the upside down bird for a special gift surprise" gets attention-- it is not hidden...it's in your visual field in the suite ;) Hot tub is seasonal, let me know and it'll be ready. NO Pets. Sorry. I have allergies!

Windsong Tree top yurt w/ hot tub

Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit, propane fireplace and a generator. Enjoy the soaking tub in the bathroom and the walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.
